This group is not really about the Ensoniq ASR-X and my own personal opinion is that it is so off topic that this extended discussion does indeed belong elsewhere. 

That being said, politeness is a virtue; antagonism is not.

Some people say things in hostile ways. Some people interpret what others say defensively. From what I have seen over the years, an overwhelming majority of the posts here (I am guessing 99%) are polite and almost all posters do not get into childish snits.
