Hi - thanks for the info.

I made an heroic attempt last week to compile the Prodatum 0.41 source for Win7. I failed. 
Instructions here if there are any coders about - http://prodatum.sourceforge.net/doc/build.html

Life goes on  - I'll stick with Proteum for now - it's more stable and I'm familiar with it's quirks at this stage :)
