If you have a PC with a soundcard it probably has a place to plug in a joystick for games. if you go to a music store they will have a cable you can plug in to the joystick port so you can play music. If you have a Macintosh you will have to get a USB to Midi converter also from a music store (try a midisport 2x2). Then you will need a midi cable from the usb to midi converter to and from your computer. Hope that helps, Andre -----Original Message----- From: MEYI [mailto:sxemariah@...] Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2002 7:24 PM To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Subject: [xl7] MIDI Ok I'm new at this stuff... so please if anyone is willing to share the knowledge, I WOULD REALLLLLY appreciate it. Question: I have a keyboard and it has a port in the back which says MIDI, does that means I can hook it up to my PC? Please excuse my english it's not too good.
