It will never happen. Creative won't sink any money into Emu development like that. They want to do cheaply made stuff like midi controllers and interfaces with two lousy outs, etc.
Besides it would be a lot more than $600 if they were to do one. A lot more. Furthermore it would be technically be a re-issue mkII or mkIII because they have already had a reissue in the 90's after it was discontinued.
