I would have to agree with you on the channel mutes front!  I have stuck 
patterns togther and set all the track mutes etc. only to find out that 
some of them have completely changed later on... very annoying!  It's not 
much of an issue for me because i use it with logic audio, but if i didn't 
have a PC sequencer this would *really* annoy me.

Another gripe i have with song mode is that i can't for the life of me 
insert a pattern into the sequence (ie. before another patter).  I have 
followed the manual, but the suggested method just won't work for me at 
all!
