I think your system gets confused or fighting over midi channels because of E-loader. Do they have rewire on a Mac? I don't know, just a suggestion. I think you should close one down at a time and just work like that. I think E-loader was primarily used for to back up your patterns when there is lot on the machine. But it seems like people are taking it further by juggling midi files a little more in depth than how it was probably intended to be used. Which is still cool.

I have ProTools 5 running on the same system and it needs to run first to work. Protools won't start if Eloader is running (OMS related I guess) and Eloader won't upload from the command station if started after ProTools (although it does seem to be able to communicate with the Emu to get pattern names. Any solutions?
Is there another way to retrieve patterns from the EMu as a MIDI file to load into a DAW??
