Yeah, I spent sometime with the PX-7 tonight and did about 5 hours with it and put the synth engine through it's paces. But I am not gonna be messing with the flash roms after all. The engine is just too thin for my kind of dirty dub techno. It's actually thinner than software. I did some A/B tests with a brand new Allen and Heath mixer and Emu monitors. No... pass.

Hey, it makes a great Ableton controller.

the OS is what it is. if you're accustomed to akai or emu, then yeah, it's
weird.

i'm looking forward to having a USB-flash-ROM for the cs/p2k, and then
i'll be happy to sell my A4000.
