mmm... i seem to have been a bit hasty with my conclusions in my last mail.. i just went back and tried to understand/predict the hickups some more and very strange things are happening indeed... trying to test my theory some more (see last mail) i found out on some occasions the saving/3 times stop technique didn't help and a hickup occured between changing patterns with exactly the same information in them.... then i got the idea to power off and on (works most of the times with my pc!) and now i notice the patterns don't "remember" the mutes anymore!... maybe it's time to read the manual now.... but i'm 99% sure they were remembered (without saving them) before powering off!... didn't change anything except the viewing angle of the display so what's happening here? mmm... i hear the manual calling... i hope i didn't seem too foolish presuming to understand the timing glitch problem the first time i noticed it!
