I would think that the Flash ROMs cost a lot, because they can be rewritten many times, just like Dvd-Rw cost more than Dvd-R.... But I also said, I use the sounds that come on the ROMs. Then I might? tweak them a little to sound better. In Protools, Logic, Cubase, Motu, etc... It serves a purpose for me, for instance, I have 2 Akai Mpc 2500's hooked up to 2 Digidesign Midi I/Os with multiple modules connected. I have an endless supply of sounds from Emu, Roland, Access, Yamaha, Korg. etc. which is so much fun for me. I enjoy what I do because I have been blessed. But I don't depend on it for any income.
