This is a the link to a 32mb flash rom on ebay. I'm sure you all know this but just in case

This guy (hill recording) always has these for sale. But it's up there. $229. but is usually around $249. I'm sure he could answer some of your questions.
Good luck

If that's all a person has to do is get one of these sticks on Ebay or wherever, and a dirt cheap Ultra sampler and then burn the tones to the rom, and then install in the CS. Then that's piss easy. I'm not sure why everyone has been farting around forever and not done it yet. That's nothin. Although, I have bigger fish to fry at the moment. But yeah in a few weeks if that's all it takes then I'll do it. I should of have an Ultra sampler of some kind for a while now anyways. So that will kill two birds with one stone for me.

At the same time, custom 32MB ROMs would be fantastic, Emax 1 or no.
The Emax 1 could still be used - but the ability to use the CS engine
and sequencer with one's own custom samplles would be quite a treat,
and I say that as someone with 3 hardware samplers, one of which is an
E-mu Ultra.

cheers,
Ian
