I have
the federation bpm pro, it does a fine job with Midi clock, although every once
in a while it will hiccup and throw everything off by a beat. I'm not
using it with the XL7 tho, it definately uses subtempo/has it's own clock
speed.

Working with them to try and troubleshoot why my XL-7 locks up and/or drifts randomly when synced to the Micro Sync. I got the XL-7 to compliment my DJ sets, and lately I've been having too many sync issues with it to use it that way (at least at my bigger gigs). So far it looks like it's an XL-7 issue, the ER-1 syncs up fine, never locks either. :(
