Strange Prodatum issue

2010-03-14 by Boris

Hi all,

This question is primarily for Jan, but maybe someone else has an idea.

I'm experiencing a very strange issue with Prodatum editor. I have an MP-7 fully expanded with ROMs, and for some reason, the names of patches and samples in these ROMs do not show up in Prodatum (except for a few at the beginning). You can see these screenshots for illustration:
1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7

Curiously, all patches in User bank do show up.
So far, I've tried changing SysEx ID, increasing SysEx packet delay to 120 ms and lowering SysEx speed in Prodatum settings; none of this helped. Could it be the MIDI interface? (it's M-Audio MidiSport 4x4 which seems to work fine in all other respects).

I have another Command Station (XL-7) so I can start juggling ROMs between them to see if it's a problem with this specific unit. But any educated guesses or troubleshooting tips are welcome!

Boris.
