My PX-7 gets used in so many different ways. I used it in a Tom Petty tribute band for miscellaneous synth sounds (w/ the Vintage Collection ROM), sequencing stuff that I don't have enough hands to play live, and as a backup for my clonewheel (using the Ultimate B-3 ROM). In the studio, it sees tons of action as a sound module, and as my go-to drum machine. I find the sequencer very fast and easy for putting together drum parts. Then I use it as a central part of my looping rig, providing MIDI-based loops synchronized with audio loops from an EH 2880. The sequencer, arpeggiator, Super Beats mode, and all the real-time controls are *killer* in a looping set-up. Considering they're 8 year old technology, I'm amazed at how well the Command Stations hold up from about every angle, except maybe the size of that LCD screen. D7
