Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I've been trying to get this program to work on windows 98 but am not having any luck.
I can get it to connect and upload the info/roms etc. but when clicking on the instrument list it say prodatum has caused an error and needs to be closed. 
Again it only happens when selecting from the instrument list so I thought I'd let you know.

Maybe you have some idea of how to over come this?
