Make sure the program change for the clip you're exporting out of Live is set to none (it's a drop down menu in the bottom panel where you set the loop/envelope stuff). I found when using Live it's easier to just record the MIDI in to the xx-7. I have an old version of cubase that i got free w/a soundcard, that works better, you don't have to do 1 track at a time. I'd be interested in a simple dedicated MIDI editor that works well for this purpose as well . . . > > I have been wanting to load sequences into the XL7. > > I can via e-loader. > However, every sequence loads in okay Track 1 button lights-up and the sequence is there, but the preset is found on C10? Why does it do this? Why does it not show as C1. Are there some settings I'm overlooking? I can go the copy paste way, but it's really cumbersome. I just want it to match-up. > > Also, I purchased Abelton to be a Midi editor, however I can only export one sequence at a time. What software do people use to edit the 16 part sequence/pattern? > > Thanks for any help in advance! > cheers >
