Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am using e-loader 1.1. Not sure if that makes a difference. However, after testing file tranfers I am confounded. I had all kinds of problems (failures) whe the sysex device ID was anything but 000. Also, I somehow transfered some files onto the computer without the mid file type attached. 

This is a mystery!!
