I've never heard of it, but from what I see, all it does is send program change and SPP. I'm not sure you'll get much use out of that. If you're a guitarist, chances are you're not trying to change synth patches on the XL-7 which is pretty much all you'll be able to do. Do note that the XL-7 has a couple footswitch inputs that are assignable to things like next sequence, previous sequence, punch in/out, etc...
