Re: MP-7 live pa help

Glad the tip got you pointed in the direction you want to head. As for the manual, I am not sure if you mean using the event editor, interfacing with external gear, or something else.

On p. 94 of the MP-7 Manual version G, there's a section on Channel Assign, but you may have figured out much of what's there on your own.

In your pdf reader, you might want to search "external" in the manual and read through all the references. If you haven't figured it out yet, you can use the 16 CC knobs (programmable knobs) to control external gear. You can also program the triggers button to go external.

I know the archives have tips and discussions (somewhere) on a number of related topics. I will try to search the archives for some discussions I remember which might be of interest.

I have used the preset prefix Xrp for eXternal arps. If you create a an arp preset with no ROM instruments and set your CS to transmit arps, you can send arps to external gear. You can combine this (for example) with the trigger buttons in "play note event" mode to turn Xrps on and off.

It would be great to see others chime in with tips on these topics.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
