Re: recording a user audition riff?

2009-01-11 by steve_the_composer

To the best of my knowledge, riffs are stored on ROMS, not user
memory. Ergo you cannot create your own riffs--other than creating
patterns.

There have been a few discussions for people who wanted to tweak
factory riffs. One way to do this is to pipe the riff out midi and
record it as a pattern. (For one related discussion, see
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/message/17669.)

I am not sure why the OS lets you switch to User for Audition Riff.
Hmmmmm.

The artist now known as Takerith has not been a member here for at
least a couple of years.

Hope this helps.
