Maybe I didn't understand well...
Are the notes information from the pattern gone when you turn off/on the
XL7??? I've never seen that problem....
I think there's a setting on the MIDI menu, to turn the patch changes on the MIDI channels on and off.
You realize that is off, when you are playing a pattern, and then select another one, and the new pattern selected, keeps playing but with the patches selected on the first pattern

I've really started to appreciate teh mo-phat ROM and was making a
pattern. made a preset or two. saved them. then saved the pattern with
the presets on the desired tracks/channels. but when i power the system
up, the channel settings are gone. presets are still there tough.
what am i doing wrong?
