Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I've never asked cause it makes me feel like such a noob, but i guess i 
shouldn't since my xx-7's main purpose is controll.
I've really started to appreciate teh mo-phat ROM and was making a 
pattern. made a preset or two. saved them. then saved the pattern with 
the presets on the desired tracks/channels. but when i power the system 
up, the channel settings are gone. presets are still there tough.

what am i doing wrong?
