Although I have emulated some 8-bit game sounds with the P2K synth engine, I am not that familiar with Nintendo game console sounds. (I tune the kids out when they play the Game Cube.) I'm not sure if these will produce what you want, but as for detuning, here are some options: (1) Double a layer and offset the fine tuning. (2) Add chorus. (3) Use a filter (such as a phase-type filter). (4) Use a patchcord (try for example White noise --> fine pitch).
