The best sounds for this use likely to be available are in the proteus 2000 set or versions thereof. This is heavily biased towards bass a lot of which is dance music bass. It does have a fair sprinkling of acoustic guitar, electric bass and lead guitar. You can even try it out free if you are willing to do it in software as emu website now provides a totally unhindered freebie of the software Proteus (its called VX) which comes with a complete and updated bank of the P2K rom set in software. I am mainly a software user and the most realistic acoustic guitars I have are from Emulator X banks I made myself from free magazine samples and such like Sam Cameron --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Gabriel" <GABRIELSCOTT@...> wrote: > > Does anyone have any suggestions about which ROM I might pick up to get more realistic/ > organic bass and guitar sounds?
