Thanks for all the replies I grabbed 2 samplers the boss sp 303 and a roland mv-8000 since they are so cheap and i can use the 303 for live stuff and the mv when at the studio.

Hello.. Although I have a very large home studio with a good amount of
hardware gear, I often fly to play gigs and I don't like to carry too much
gear with me. For live use, I use only an XL-7 and a Korg ESX-1. I find the
Korg to be a fantastic complimentary sampler, as it is incredibly intuitive
to play with live, the sequencer feels nice and I can route the headphones
out from the Command Station into the audio ins on the ESX, for on-the-fly
addition of Korg effects onto the XL-7. Just a thought..
Also, if you would like to hear some music or add me as a friend, my MySpace
is http://myspace. com/nymphrecords . Thanks:
Daniel
