Kinda OT, but also not, i have the XL7, and i love its sequencing and immediacy of the sounds, but i'm now wanting to use a sampler.. i've been looking at the aftermarket JJOS 2.0 for the mpc1000 and it seems to have added a bunch of nice synth and sequencing features like the step sequencing screen etc. (http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/ JJOS website) Is anyone here able to comment on the similarities and differences between the two devices?
