Yes, USB only makes things faster.  One tip that has helped folks from the past was to connect to a USB 1.1 hub instead of a port that supports 2.0.  If all else fails, that's always something to try.  I should really try setting this up with my unit at home.  I have all my sequences on there that aren't anywhere else.  Maybe I'll have the same problems and can help sort them out.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
