Yes, USB only makes things faster. One tip that has helped folks from the past was to connect to a USB 1.1 hub instead of a port that supports 2.0. If all else fails, that's always something to try. I should really try setting this up with my unit at home. I have all my sequences on there that aren't anywhere else. Maybe I'll have the same problems and can help sort them out. -Aaron ----- Original Message ---- From: dutchbeats <dutchbeats@...> To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, July 3, 2008 7:04:13 PM Subject: [xl7] Re: USB problems w/ XP Just to make sure then can I still backup/restore sequence data using only a MIDI I/O connection on Windows XP without the USB? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "dwn4tupac" <dwn4tupac@...> wrote: > > well that clears that up then...thx > > N > > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Aaron Eppolito <synthesis77@> wrote: > > > > Your OS is fine.
