It should work with midi transfer (although at 1/100th the speed). Diagnostic question: When you select "Scan for MIDI devices" from e-loader's MIDI menu, does your e-mu show up in the dialogue box? If not, check the MIDI I/O port settings in midi setup. If your e-mu is listed, make sure the midi setup has the same sysex ID as what's listed in the Device Inquiry box.
