So this one particular file is fighting you? Hmm. I can't imagine what would make it fail. Can you restore it to a different location? All the info we save is standard MIDI so you should be able to find a sequencer that edits it and saves it correctly. Can you restore the song to a pattern location?

Sorry I can't think of much else. No one's probably gotten back to you cause I don't think anyone's run into that before...

Hi.
I've had my PX-7 for years now & know it pretty much inside & out.
I've been using E-loader for the last 2 years & never an issue.
However, very recently, E-loader is refusing to restore the first file
in a song sequence (i.e., a blank pattern with all my internal &
external settings for that song), stating it is an "invalid format".
If I resave the file in an external MIDI utility, E-loader will
restore the file to my PX-7 but certain parameters are missing.
This is nothing to do with the computer I'm restoring from (tried 2
different) and nothing to do with the files I've backed up (tried the
same file from back-ups going back to 2006!). I've never had this
problem before and have been making regular backups whenever a gig was
coming up etc.
If there's no logical / obvious solution I'm going to be faced with
several days of editing!!!
Help!
