Hello. I made an identical pattern, but did not do the touch-strip bass slide. The pattern loops fine now. The slide must have somehow created the whole problem, because it was at the start of the pattern. I have put in two sound boards from my XL-1; the XL-1, and the ORCH-1. Now this thing has a boat-load of serious samples. I have a question about the DATA THIN setting: Does "1" wipe out the least info, or the most info? The manual uses "3" as a reference, showing that it will keep every 3rd piece of data.If I set it for "128", will it save only the last piece of data? Is there a recommended number to set it at, that keeps things sounding the same, but saves the most room in the pattern? Should I try to wipe out only the user preset banks to save memory? What is the easiest way to do just that, without using a computer? I love this box, but have been spoiled by the rock solid O.S. of the Roland MC-909, when it comes to sequencing, and saving onboard stuff. The E-Mu sounds are the richest of the sample play-back gear, that I have ever used. The O.S. just seems really touchy, but I just have to get to know all of it's quirks. I do deeply dig them though.ESW
