I assume you are not using E-Mu's built-in beats feature, since that
will only allow you to trigger special BTS riffs that are on E-Mu
ROMS, not your own patterns. [If this IS what you want to do, it is
quite easy to do.]
It would be nice, though, if the box would allow us to use E-Mu's
beats mode with user created patterns. (Aaron, put this on my fantasy
list for OS3.0.) It sounds like this is what you want to do.
If so, one workaround might be to have your beats (user-created
patterns) set up as arps. These then could be played (or triggered)
from your midi controller.
Again, I am not sure this is what you are looking to do. Others may
have suggestions. Hope this helps.

and still it's not working.. I would like to trigger my beats thru my
Korg PadKontrol. I want my pattern I created for my kick and snare
and so forth, to be triggered by my midi controller, Is this
possible, if so how?.. I believe this will help me be more creative
by doing remixes and creating songs on the fly.. Basically I would
like to bring in my already created patterns and form a song using my
midi controller.
