Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi folks,
I've been using an MP-7 for a few years now, and love it.  One thing
that is kind of annoying is that when using an expansion ROM, the
controller knob functions do not follow the command station defaults
when using presets from that ROM.  In other words, it doesnt use the
controller functions printed on the box.  Instead they are using
assignments for a P2K module, and the controller knob assignments are
different than on a command station. For instance, on the MP-7, knobs
5-8 are Amp Attack, Amp Decay, Amp Sustain and Amp Release. But if you
select a preset from say a WORLD ROM, knob 5 will be Amp Attack, 6 is
Amp Release, 7 is LFO Amount and 8 is LFO Rate, like on the front
panel of the Planet Earth module. 

Is there any way to make presets on an add-in ROM use the default
command station controller knob assignments?  Other than reprogramming
the preset and saving it to USER, that is.  I havent been able to find
an answer in the manual. Any help appreciated.
