now I heard many advices, thanks.
I understand the reasons of this misbehaviour as well.
I just thought that hey, since the SPDIF is the copy of the
main analog out then this would be a must.
But obvoiusly SPDIF is the exact copy of the main bus
for INTERNAL PARTS ONLY, but the manual forgets to
mention this, or I didn't find it.

Regarding the A/D conversion:
I don't mind it. Some noise floor is OK for me.
All the equipments in this exact case connected to the Emu
are higher spec then it is. And all analog.
