Yeah, if you're just going to select the presets on the MP7 itself, you should probably turn "Recieve Program Change" to "off". Then the MP7 should just ignore any program change information that might be coming from the MPC and you'll just select presets from the MP7. Just remember that the presets won't be saved as part of the sequence on the MPC, so you'll have to set them up again each time you power-on the MP7 (or save them to one of the MP7 multisetups). The other option, but it's a lot more work, is to set up a new program change mapping in the "Midi Prog Chnge->Preset" screen. And just remap the change number sent from the MPC to the correct preset number on the MP7. But it's a lot more fiddling with the data wheel and cursor buttons than just picking your presets on the MP7 when you start it up. Up side is you only have to set up the map once. Hope this helps... Pgm.No.1 and the mpc will match it at 002.o why cant they be both at 1. Is their a way to put them on the same page so it will be less confusing selecting patches from the mp-7 I dont mind using the Mp-7 datawheel to find a preset because I think its alot easier than using the mpc pgm selection to dial it up, because it's off by a number the mp-7 starts at. 000.0 the mpc starts at 1, and I can find it quicker on the mpc7 just like using a rack module. Is their a reson for using the program change on the mpc, do you have to. > > > --------------------------------- > We won't tell. Get more on shows you hate to love > (and love to hate): Yahoo!
