Hours of fun :o)
Its all about movement for me, l like some stuff to be changing texture
wise and musically.
The waldorf XT's good at this as you can step through wavetables which
can be modulated by pretty much anything else. Its never the same twice
if you want it to be that way.
I have heard some very similar wavetable type sounds out the XL-7,
though their not as raw as with the XT.
Ive gone back to basics with gear as im just starting up again.
Only got a quasimidi 309 and a Roland JD990 hocked up to the command
station at the moment.
Just been using the command station as a controller / seq with the arps
running the other stuff, so not using any internal sounds yet.
Thats why i cant use the LFO to modulate the XL's VCA stages to achieve
what i wanted to do.
Wonder why some other sources / destinations were never implemented?
Dont think it would be hardware related as this should be a software
thing i would imagine.
You cant have all! ;O)
