Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

My ROM appears to have died (no presets, no instruments, etc.). 
Diagnostics test 13 (Sound ROM Test) says the the ROM passes in 
whichever slot I place it. However, test 15 (Sound Data CRC Test) 
computers a Bad CRC in whichever slot I place it.

Is there any way to recover this ROM? Could something I did when I 
checked out the ROM in the E5000 have erased all or part of the ROM's 
memory?

Thanks for any insights into the nature of this problem and possible 
solutions--other than to buy a new ROM.
