Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

What's up people? I have a question. Maybe I'm missing something in 
the manual or flunked MIDI 101. Can someone please explain to me step 
by step how to transmit program changes using the MP7. I have a SP505 
and you can only change the pad bank that it will receive thru MIDI 
by using program changes( I know, stupid ain't it). I have messed 
with the program/preset change map with no luck. Please help!
