hi dss, thanks for your emphatic words. but they still leave me alone with my problem. lets not moan about the dated & unsatisfying routing-concept of the proteus family. critics & users all over the world did this for years & emu didnt change anything for the better. but maybe sean or scott could give me an answer please. the problem again: i use the following routing: send 1 - mains (fx a on this one) send 2 - sub 1 send 3 - sub 3 send 4 - main (fx b on this one) i tried to route knobs o & p - in quick edit - to send 1 & 2 but i can only make one of them work at a time. i really need the sub outs for drums & bass (no eqs on bord - as yall know), so i obviously can not use 2 fx & a dry out on main.therefore i would like to control the sends via midi. some other questions: - have ensoniq asr-x programmers been involved in the development of these units ? - is the resonance fault ever gonna be repaired ? - the glitches with pattern switching are most obvious in busy patterns. apart from that they behave different, if you switch them via main sreen or LED View Select Section. to me it doesnt feel like os - problem, rather a lack of processor - power/speed. what can you tell me about that ? i greatly appreciate an answer. taking the rough with the smooth, j.
