Re: [xl7] Re: How do I initialise factory patterns

2002-02-08 by Aaron Eppolito

DO NOT DO THIS AND EXPECT TO HAVE ANY SEQUENCES!

There are TWO init screens, one that DELETES ALL SEQUENCES (including factory
seqs) and one that doesn't.

The factory patterns are eraseable to give you more space for your own
stuff. The only way to get them back if you've erased them is to download
them off the CD to the XL-7/MP-7/P2500 with E-Loader.

"Init User Data Except Seq" is the item you want to reinit the unit, though
if you've already erased sequences, this will not get them back. This
restores multisetups, presets, and master settings all to their original
state, leaving the sequences alone.

"Initialize User Data" will delete all sequences in addition to doing
everything that the above command.

All of diagnostics are really only recommended for use when instructed by an
authorized service department.
