Jeff,

On this one, you should call your salesman @ GC and see if he/she
(gotta be PC)will honor your purchase or give you the promotion for 
your less than 2 month old purchase of the MP-7.

My situation was similar after buying the P2K in the late summer 
of "99".  There was a promotion for a free ROM which in my case was 
the 16mb Protozoa a month after my purchase.  I received a call from 
my salesman alerting me of the ROM deal.  I then asked him about 
upgrade possibilities to the Techno ROM that I really wanted and he 
said no problem.  I picked up the new Rob Papen ROM just paying 
the "cost" difference.

It's little things like that that make repeat customers so less than 
a year later I went back and got the XL-1. (Don't you just love the 
little "Thank You" cards that they personally send you?)
