Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hello i had tried to make my own trs connections a couple of months 
ago back when that command station inputs through trs conversation 
was going on. it didnt work. so i thought. i had just figured i 
would have to wait until i could afford trx cables. well now i have 
theem. and they dont work. heheh. i mean they ar fine but my ms2000b 
doesnt support trs so there's no sense using them. so i went back to 
my old trs cables i made. rca cables with a stereo rca to trs phone 
plug connected at the end. and when i plug one into the mp7 and then 
plug just the right channel with a mono phone plug adapter into any 
output of the ms2k it makes noise. so i have found a solution.

my problem is that the mp-7 doesnt make any sound on the right 
submix output on submix 1. hold on lemme try submix 2 yep it seems 
that only the left channel on  both submixes work. i had tried 
opening the mp7 to see if it was a connection thing but the 
connections are cased in plastic. andd besides it doesnt seem to be 
a hardware issue if both submixes arent working(right?)

any ideas? i think im gonna try some of the diagnostics programs in 
the mp7
