Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Yes, it sounds like the contact of that pad is bad.  Did you use that one a lot or did it just fail ?

I would try what Byron suggests but you may have to purchase a replacement pad switch.

Maybe it's a diry contact? I never disassembled a CS before, but I
know alot of people have custom painted there own, so it can't be too
hard to do...
