Hello, Your friend can use e-loader to back up his sequences ( patterns ans songs ). Its free , you can download it on emu website. For the patch i don't know if midiox works on mac. It works fine on pc you can save via sysex all your presets and all your multisetup ( + tunning table and preset map ) . Its also free. For this second feature you need a standart midi connection on your computer. Hope that help.
