Personally I've never found the reverbs on "groove boxes" to be anything other than rudimentary at best. Still it's usable and does the job in a pinch. I typically have been using the plate reverbs, and Hall2 the most. Using the High Frequency Dampening can help mask any graininess that you find on cheaper reverbs, as can lower Decay settings. To much reverb just buries you instruments in a wash of sound, and takes away any punch they have. For snares, the plate reverb works good, especially with small send amounts, I use around 2-3%. rEalm Well thought I'd throw up a new topic.. Anyone have any recomendations for good reverb settings? Most of the default rooms sound very tinny to me, so I use the effects very sparingly. I don't have allot of experience with verbs.. any recomendations?
