Yeah, I'm a bit familiar with the mc505 :) , but honestly never really used that Pattern Call feature anyway. It was ok, but I could never remember which patterns were assigned to which buttons, so I just kept to scrolling. At least when I saw the name of the next pattern I know what it sounded like... rEalm That's the most sensible way to do it, but you've used a 505 so I'm sure you know it's no substitute for one-button-press pattern call (as found on the MC-505, the Electribes, and the RM1x), especially if you want to change up your arrangement or experiment with structure. Dialing patterns live is like editing on an LCD, pattern call is like turning a filter cutoff knob.
