well... A bit more info on how you've got things plugged in would help... so if you want to seq your Yamaha from the PX-7:- Midi Out (A or B) from the PX-7 into the Midi In on the yamaha. Set the tracks on the PX-7 that you just want to seq the yamaha to EXT ie:- EDIT - PATTERN - CHANNEL ASSIGN - DEST:EXT Keep you midi channels in some kind of order between the 2 boxes, ie:- 1 to 8 on the PX-7 then 9 to 16 on the Yamaha (or the like) so its less confusing where things are being triggered from. Remember to turn off say the first 8 midi channels in you yamaha or just set the first PX-7 tracks to internal.(unless you want both to sound on the same channel..) If you dont have some kind of mixer to bring back both you stereo outputs into you PC, you could make up a bodge lead to bring the Yamaha back into either sub 1 or sub 2 outputs on the PX-7. They act as insert points of the internal mixer buss so you could connect an external FX unit to the PX-7. If you use a stereo jack plug and come back in on the ring the audio will be mixed back into the PX-7's main outs :o) That close to what your trying to do?? I port the PX7 and the keyboard together, but it only lets me play my PX7 sounds on the keyboard.
