Why not have the other sound/preset on another midi channel and just change to a new channel in the sequence. That would be less risky and CPU intensive.

Firstly a Happy Ney Year to you all,
I've using my command station as a sound module recently running of my
pc using cubase. I find that when using a program change mid sequence,
and the new preset is using *arp on* mode, that the XX7 tends to
struggle a bit and often misses the first notes on the arpeggio. Is
this down to cubase or the xx7. Anyone have similar experiences/know
any workarounds/fixes??
