Thanks Bob, I haven't heard back from the original owner yet - Xmas and all... The unit appears to be in excellant physical condition. The fault appears to happen after the unit has been in operation for a while (heat? - I have noticed the machine runs warmish...). It can happen when sitting idle (not playing) or any other given moment.... cheers Greg --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Bob S." <tttsystems@e...> wrote: > Good work ! Will the original owner confess to this being a problem when he had it? Or did it start happening after it was shipped to you ? How stable your power (dropouts or noise/glitches)? We are basically taking about an address error in the imbedded computer system. > > Bob > Corona/Riverside, CA > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: groakes2000 > To: xl7@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Saturday, January 01, 2005 8:42 PM > Subject: [xl7] Re: Bus Address Error > > > > Well, I pulled it apart and checked all the ribbon cables and they > were fine.
