seems like your on the right track. i just have every pattern the same. but I use alot of drums, so first 8 belong to drums/percussion second 8 to synth. plus I use two MP-7's so I have 32 tracks. After a while you just get use to it.....Kick, Snare, Hi Hat, Bongos ect..
