hm, it indeed is what i'm going for. to a certain
extent. i'll keep your advice in mind though. it's a
sound advice ;o)

there is a low cut eq on the main tracks indeed. it
just was too bass heavy. since i recorded the main
part live directly to 1 stereo track, i couldn't
really process the drums without affecting the bass or
the 'lead lines'. i'm still working on a setup that
would be a bit more practical. that's why i'm trying
to save for an external soundcard with multiple ins
and outs. unfortunately that means a new computer too,
since the specs of the one i use now are not up to the
specs soundcards require nowadays. poverty ahead.
