Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Thanx to everyone that participated in the first ever Command Station real 
time chat.  I know that since we had so many pople logged on at once, it 
was hard to get a word in, but over all I think it went very well.  Our 
man Aaron was there along with the president of Emu, both were really 
friendly, gave us lots of good info.  I wasn't supposed to say anything, 
but the new OS will include:

1. User sampling onto a Flash ROM via the headphone jack.
2. New hardisk option for storing the names of your Presets, no more 
wasted ROM!.
3. QWERTY keyboard hook up via the 12v light jack to allow you to enter 
names for your Multi's (will not work with Presets or Patterns though).
4. RPS feature accessible via the volume knob.  As you turn the knob 
further and further, you select new Patterns to be played.  Your set may 
get louder too, an added bonus.
5. New ARPs that are only 1 step long (for minimal techno construction).
6. New filter in Preset Edit menu.  It's a TPF filter (Total Pass Filter). 
 Once you select it, none of your signal gets attenuated.


Tons more too, but I really shouldn't spill the beans yet.  Once again,
